Together we clarify your goals; expand your self-awareness, see new options; recognize your stumbling blocks; and create a plan that gets you where you want to go. For many, that sounds like what you probably do in your professional life; ironically, we have a hard time doing it for ourselves!
Working together brings fresh ideas and perspectives, while relieving you of having to guide the process and be in it at the same time!
My specialty is seeing patterns, laying out the hard stuff with a soft touch, and holding enough belief to weather times when your motivation may flag. Sometimes our work together can feel like digging out of a hole, other times it’s more like discovering the next horizon.
You should read this blog because it relays what I’ve learned and am continuing to learn from my clients. It’s a way for you to gain some new tools, perspectives and strategies that can shake up your status quo.
Specifically…
I’m a former marketing executive who realized I was most passionate about helping my staff grow professionally and personally. After 3 years in London as the Client Services Director for a marketing intelligence powerhouse, I returned to the US and became a certified coach.
My clients tend to be smart, intense professionals who are familiar with success. They engage my services when they’re not experiencing success like they’re used to, or they’re uncertain of what “success” looks like for them now. Clients appreciate my compassionate directness and describe me as extremely savvy, intuitive and genuine.
Corporate clients include: Absolute Performance, AT&T Broadband, Bank of America, CH2M Hill, Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), Nationwide Insurance, Square Two Financial, Sun Microsystems, and Wild Oats Markets.
Not for profit clients include: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, The Boettcher Foundation, Clinica Family Health Service, Engineers Without Borders USA, The Marin Community Foundation, NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts), University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, and The W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
I earned my BS in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In addition, I am an International Coach Federation (ICF) certified coach and authorized facilitator for the Team Diagnostic™ assessment. In 2003, I developed Essential Edge™, the guided self-coaching journal. In 2010, I joined the board of Seth Ellis Chocolatier, makers of the yummy, nut free and gluten free Sun Cups.
Supporting others goes beyond my professional interests. I’m currently a board member of Social Venture Partners Boulder County and mentor in the Leeds’ Professional Mentorship Program at the University of Colorado. Previously: founding member of the Boulder-Denver Room to Read chapter, part of Naturally Boulder’s Education Committee, adviser for the Boulder Innovation Center and 2-term president of the Family Learning Center’s board of directors.
